In memory of our friend and colleague, Tyron Stalberg, we are pleased to be supporting the Mason Foundation through workshops and mentoring for young people. This initiative reflects Tyron’s passion for helping others realise their potential and our shared commitment to making a positive difference.
In October 2025, the Mason Foundation launched a work experience programme for 20 young people from disadvantaged backgrounds across the Southeast. We are proud to be supporting this initiative – providing mentoring and working alongside partners in construction and housing to open doors to real career pathways, build confidence, and develop skills through hands-on placements and practical workshops. By inspiring and supporting the next generation, we continue Tyron’s legacy of kindness, opportunity, and community impact.
In September 2019 PML Team members Dan and Mark took on the Abseiling Challenge to climb down the 30-storey building Broadgate Tower, situated in the heart of the Liverpool Street business district, London, and raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support and Maggie’s Cancer Support charities in the process.
Both exhilarating and frightening in equal measure, both gents completed the task with gusto despite an agonising hour-long wait upon the roof waiting for the wind to calm down! Fantastic achievement and an even more fantastic opportunity to raise money and support for two amazingly worthwhile charities.
Having chosen our 2019 charity for the year, our first event was raising money to support Macmillan Cancer Support.
The PML Team carried out a ‘Step-a-Thon’ from 1-31 March 2019 covering the distance from London Trafalgar Square to New York Times Square, and recording our ‘journey’ on a pedometer with updates posed on our social media each week showing how far Team PML had travelled.
Our goal was to raise £10,000 towards funding x4 Macmillan Social Worker or family support worker for a month. They work with community and social services agencies to help people manage the social and practical problems of living with cancer.
So to record our efforts we all wore a pedometer from 07.00 – 22.00 – logging our steps for that day. This was then transferred to form a ‘tracker’ each week.
Raising money for Childline and Essex Air Ambulance, the PML Team took up the challenge to ‘cycle and row’ from London to Paris using static exercise bikes and rowing machines over the period of time, recording each Team Members’ efforts and collating the miles cycled or rowed.
